Section 1 - General Overview

ParrotKidz offers pet boarding and pet sitting services to care for your feathered and furry friends. By booking our services, clients agree to abide by the terms outlined below.

  • Boarding Services: Housing and care provided for pets at our facility.

  • Sitting Services: Care provided in the owner’s home to maintain the pet’s routine.

Section 2 - Booking & Payment Policy

  • Booking Process: Reservations can be made through our Social Medias, Whatsapp, Telegram or by phone.

  • Payment Methods: Accepted payment methods include cash, PayNow, or bank transfer. A deposit is required for bookings of four weeks or more on the first day. 

  • Full Payment: The remaining balance is due on the first or last day of service.

Section 3 - Cancellation & Refunds

  • Cancellation Policy: 
    If a client chooses to cancel the service and retrieve their pet within 48 hours after boarding has commenced, they are entitled to a 50% refund of the total payment. The remaining 50% will be retained to cover the time, resources, and care already provided during that period. No refunds will be issued for cancellations after the first 48 hours of boarding.

  • Last-Minute Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to service will not be eligible for refunds.

Section 4 - Owner Responsibilities

  • Accurate Information: Owners must provide detailed information about their pet, including feeding schedules, medical needs, and behavioural traits​.

  • Pet Supplies: Owners are responsible for providing their pet’s cage, food, favorite toys, and any required medications during the stay. If a cage or food is not provided, we offer rental cages and food for an additional fee of $10 each.

Section 5 - Health & Safety

  • Pet Well-being: Our facility is equipped with secure enclosures, and we regularly check on the pets' well-being to ensure they are eating, drinking, and not showing signs of stress​

  • Veterinary Care: In the event of a medical emergency, we will contact the owner immediately. If the owner is unreachable and veterinary care is required, we reserve the right to proceed with treatment at the owner's expense. Once contacted, the owner is responsible for covering the full cost of any veterinary services provided.

 

​Section 6 - behaviour & Temperament

  • Pet Behaviour: Owners must disclose any history of aggressive or destructive behaviour. If a pet displays aggression during their stay, we reserve the right to limit their out-of-cage time or keep them in their cage to ensure the safety and well-being of the pet, other animals, and people around. This will be done in the best interest of everyone involved.

  • Socialisation: We offer socialisation with other parrots when compatibility allows, promoting mental and emotional well-being.

Section 7 - Liability

  • Limited Liability: While we take every precaution to ensure the safety and well-being of the pets in our care, ParrotKidz is not liable for any pre-existing health conditions, sudden illnesses, or accidents that may occur during the boarding or sitting period​.

Section 8 - Photo Updates & Communication

  • Updates: We provide updates, including photos, for owners who wish to stay informed about their pet's well-being during their stay.

  • Check-ins: Virtual check-ins can be arranged for owners who want to interact with their pets remotely​.

Section 9 - Termination of Services

  • Right to Refuse: We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service if a pet poses a threat to other animals, our staff, or themselves. In such cases, we will notify the owner to collect their pet immediately​.

Section 10 - Privacy Policy

  • Data Collection: We collect basic personal information (name, contact details) and pet-related information to ensure personalised service. This data will not be shared with third parties unless required by law.

Section 11 - Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Singapore. All dealings, correspondence and contacts between us shall be made or conducted in the English language.
